INPALME (International Palm Oil Exhibition) Indonesia 2015 is International Palm Oil Event organized by PT International Network which is The Most Integrated Palm Oil Media Company. INPALME 2015 will be held on 23 - 25 April 2015 located at MICC (Medan International Convention Center) at Ring Road Street No.1 (Gagak Hitam), Medan City, North Sumatera Province, Indonesia. As we know, Indonesia is the largest Crude Palm Oil (CPO) producer in the world. Indonesia has around 10 million hectares of Palm Oil Plantation, more than 600 Palm Oil Mills, approximately 120 Refineries, and some Palm Kernel Oil Mills, Oleo Chemical Companies, Biodiesel Factories, etc. North Sumatra province stretches across the island of Sumatra between the Indian Ocean and the Strait Malacca. It borders Aceh province in the northwest and Riau and West Sumatra provinces in the southeast. North Sumatra province is the second largest palm oil plantation in Indonesia with around 1 million hectares of palm oil plantation while Riau province is the largest with around 2 million hectares. Medan as the third largest city in Indonesia (after Jakarta and Surabaya) is the capital city of North Sumatra province and this province plays a big role in palm oil industry in Indonesia. That's why INPALME takes place in Medan.

Gabungan Perusahaan Karet Indonesia (Gapkindo) or the Rubber Association of Indonesia is an association of Indonesian enterprises dealing in rubber.The objective of Gapkindo is to develop and improve production, processing and marketing of Indonesian natural rubber as one of the important export products of Indonesia.
Members of Gapkindo comprise of rubber plantations (state-owned, private-national as well as foreign-capital), processors, exporters, traders (brokers, dealers) and buyer representative.  As of July 2012 total membership counts to 160 companies.
Gapkindo organization consists of a Governing Board in the Jakarta Secretariat and Branches in each rubber producing province, namely North Sumatera (including Aceh), West Sumatera, Riau, Jambi, South Sumatera, Lampung,Bengkulu, West Kalimantan, South/Central Kalimantan, and Java.
Gapkindo was founded in Jakarta on May 25, 1971 during the peak of movement to establish production of technically specified rubber in Indonesia, which is presently well-known as Standard Indonesian Rubber (SIR).  At first, the name of the association was Persatuan Pengusaha Karet Spesifikasi Teknis Indonesia (PPKSTI) or the Indonesian Association of Technically Specified Rubber Producers.  This was later changed to Gapkindo, hence The Rubber Association of Indonesia to include also producers of others types of natural rubber, traders and buyer representatives.
Gapkindo holds its Congress regularly once every three years to direct the policy of the association and to elect a new Governing Board.  To conduct the policy, the Board appoints an Executive Director, two Assistant Executive Director and an Office Manager to take care of daily activities of the Secretariat.

New Goverment Regulation – Drive Increasing Investment for Automotive Industry in Indonesia

Indonesia with over 250 million of populations has become as ASEAN’s Largest economy in the region. Vehicle sales in ASEAN has reached more than 3.1 million units and Indonesia reached the sales of nearly 1.3 million vehicles (or 42% of ASEAN market share). Through the new regulation by Indonesia Government that Automobile which has a market with over 10,000 units sales per year, are required to build a factory in Indonesia. The new regulation will encourage multinational automotive manufacturers to invest in Indonesia and produces global automotive products, both complete vehicles (CBU) and increase the types of components that latest technology in the production system to meet the needs of the domestic market or the localized and export needs.
